Eyan was first introduced to Butman as an elementary camper in 2008, but it wasn’t until 2019 (when he was reintroduced to Butman by his future wife) that he felt called into the camping ministry.
Eyan is now married with a growing family of dogs and children. He loves hunting, fishing, and anything else related to the outdoors. However, his favorite pastime is spending time with his wife and kids. While Eyan’s favorite ministry is his family, watching campers arrive and experience Christ in such a revivalistic way is very close competition.
As Maintenance Foreman, Eyan thrives to keep camp facilities running smoothly and keep the ground beautiful so all campers can experience the full joy of Christ without inconveniences while at camp. He has past experience in multiple trade-skill jobs that have shaped his knowledge for all and other things maintenance encompassing. Toilet needs plunging, grass needs mowing, got a broken sink or shower, a/c not working… Eyan is your guy! He finds joy in making your camp or retreat experience run as smoothly as possible so there will be no distractions from the love God’s offering you while you’re here at Butman!
