What time is check-in and pick-up for my summer camper?
Check-in is between 10:00am and 11:30am, except for New Dawn II, which is at 2:00pm-3:00pm.
Pick-up is around 11:30am for all camps. Please refer to the Camp Packet for your camper’s specific check-in and pick-up times.

What is the pricing for a retreat?
Butman Camp prides itself on Guest Services & Experiences! Because of this we try to make every effort to book your day or overnight group without letting money get in they way of you coming. Now we still have our own responsibility to be good stewards of what God has in trusted us with. So, we ask that you call or email about your pricing needs. Pricing is based on age, facilities, and or needs. 

What do we need to bring when coming to camp?
Toiletries, blow-dryer (if needed), bath linens, bedding for twin beds unless you are at Irvine Lodge where there a few queen beds (ask your group leader or call the camp for more details about queen beds), weather appropriate attire, and tennis shoes if participating in the rock wall or challenge course.

Accommodations

Irvine Lodge & Meeting Center

Irvine Lodge has 24 guest rooms. Each room sleeps up to six people. Each room has a private entrance, private bath, individual heat/air-conditioning units and carpeting. Rooms 1-6, and 20-24 have four single beds on the floor and two upper bunks each. Rooms 7-19 have a Queen bed and two singles on the floor with three upper bunks. There are 6 rooms that are handicapped accessible. The Mabee Conference room and the Knowles Meeting room (kitchenette) part of Irvine Lodge have walkways that are covered. 

 Hillside Lodge & Lodge Meeting Room

There are 11 guest rooms, each sleeping 6 (3 built in bunks), with private bath, air-conditioning, and carpeting.  Groups in Hillside Lodge typically use the Lodge Meeting Room and kitchenette at the north end of the lodge.  

 South Cottages

All four cottages are carpeted, have two private baths each, and air-conditioning.  Doss, Cooper and Scott Cottages each have 8 beds (4 bunks),
Webb Cottage, designed for camp directors and leadership staff, has two rooms and two private baths.  One room has a Queen bed, a loft bunk and a twin bunk bed, and sleeps a total of 4. The other room serves as a small living room, with a desk, table and kitchenette equipped with a sink, refrigerator and microwave.  

 West Cabins

Six West Cabins (1, 2, 4, 5, 6 & 7) have two rooms each that will sleep 6 (3 built in bunks) with central heat/air, and a private bath in each room. Capacity of each cabin is 12. 
Cabin #3A-B is capable of housing larger groups.  It has two separate rooms, and each room will sleep 13.  This cabin has central heat/air, each has their own large bathroom.

Camp FAQs

How do I pay for camp?
You can pay online with a credit card, mail in a money order or check, or you can bring your payment to the first day of camp. For your convenience, customized payment plans are available online through your email. A 50% Deposit is due upon registration to ensure your spot at Camp!

How much money does my camper need for the camp store?
Camp t-shirts, hats usually run from $15-$30, jewelry $3-$10, and snacks and or slushies between $1-$2. Other specialty novelty items may be available and can be between $3-$15.
